So Much More than MOVEMENT

Undisputedly, movement (not necessarily exercise) is necessary for human wellness. It is essential for our bodies to move often to regulate our levels of homeostasis, improve lymphatic drainage, muscle strength, increased blood flow, gut motility, organ movement and our ability to heal; not to mention the health benefits of calming our central nervous system and lessening the effects of stress. But when we look at movement through a Holistic Movement Coach’s eyes, we look for the things that conflict with ease of movement and build a picture of what is needed to remedy those conflicts. We ask, is it neural, programming, a weakness, misalignment, constriction, or is it other factors that contribute to the conflict. A programme is then designed to correct what is found and comfortable movement is restored
