Lymphascial Practitioner

So Much More than FLOW

The lymphatic system primarily consists of lymphatic vessels, which are similar to the veins and capillaries of the circulatory system. The vessels are connected to lymph nodes where the lymph is filtered, and there are hundreds of lymph nodes found throughout the human body. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport lymph, (which is seen as a clear and colourless fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells) throughout the body and a network of tissues, and organs, use lymph to help rid the body of toxins, waste and other unwanted materials. Without this incredible filtration system our body would not be able to clear itself of dead cells and broken-down tissue, and our organs would not survive being encased in a stagnant, infected cesspool. Increasing the filtration of the system can be achieved via gentle manual stimulation to the lymphatic system and when carried out by a trained Lymphascial Practitioner, lymphatic and myofascial work is found to be incredibly beneficial; especially for detoxification of the body overall. This is seen as clearing blockages and debris from the system and is powerful for promoting circulation, reducing swelling and speeding up healing
